Questions frequently asked to polish lovers!

What top coat do you use?

I usually use Sally Hansen Insta Dri, but on occasion I use Orly In A Snap or Seche Vite.I am really liking NYC Grand Central Station!! Cheap, and a great top coat!

What base coat do you use?

I change between China Glaze Strong Adhesion and OPI Natural Nail. My favorite base was an Avon which is long discontinued.

How do you care for your cuticles?

I don't have a specific routine. I use Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover, and a q-tip to push back my cuticles about once a week before a mani. I also use cuticle oil after polishing. Usually China Glaze Peppermint Oil or Cue-Plex Pineapple Complex. I constantly use hand creams and lotions.

How do you clean-up after polishing? 

I usually don't. After years of painting, I'm pretty good at staying between the lines. When I do happen to make a mess, I clean up with remover and a small concealer brush.

How often do you paint your nails? 

I go through stages where I paint them every day. On average, I'd say about 4-5 times a week. 

How many bottles of polish do you have? 

I do not know an exact count. I'd say almost 800. Ignorance is bliss. 

How long have you collected polish?   

This has been a hobby of mine for about 15 years. I've been more actively collecting in the past 4 years.
