Summer Picnic (with ANTS!) Nail Art!

Since Llarowe  posted on thier Facebook page they were having a Nail Art contest, I decided to do some ants on a picnic tablecloth...very summery!

This is all freehand. I first painted my nails with a red OPI creme. Then used a white nail art pen to make the checks...then a black nail art pen and a dotting tool to make the ants!

 

Polish Revolution Oh My Goth! and Illamasqua Prosperity

I will admit that I am a bit partial to this particular Indie brand. 

Out of all of the Indie polishes I own, one of the brands I have the most of is Polish Revolution! What is not to love about a brand that is incredibly unique, and has several ZOMBIE themed polishes?

Spotted: Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore display at Walmart!

As I was browsing Walmart yesterday, a new display caught my eye!

I had heard that Drew Barrymore was releasing a line of cosmetics, but had no clue when to expect to start seeing them in stores. 

This is the nail polish side of the 3-way display

On the front was eye products, on on the other side there were lip products.

Nubar Peacock Feathers! A dream come true!!

Finally! After what seems like an eternity of searching! I now own Nubar Peacock Feathers. This is one of those discontinued, very hard to find polishes. I finally obtained this through an online swapping group I am a member of! 

This is one of the most beautiful duochrome polishes I have ever seen. 

Looks pretty bland in the bottle, right?
