Finally! After what seems like an eternity of searching! I now own Nubar Peacock Feathers. This is one of those discontinued, very hard to find polishes. I finally obtained this through an online swapping group I am a member of!
This is one of the most beautiful duochrome polishes I have ever seen.
This post is almost a month in the making. I spotted this display at my local Walmart on October 25th. November has been super hectic for me, so I am just now getting around to posting these pics! I apologize!
Here is a pic of the entire "Runway Trends" display.
It consists of 5 different "Collections"
Velour Finish, Diamond Couture, French Trends, Metro Chic, and Party Glam.
I was going to wait to post this mani until I could get outside in some real lighting...with my real camera. But alas, I could not wait. So you can thank the wonderful world of Blackberry smartphones, partnered with my impatience, for the quality of these pics!
I was browsing Etsy a few days ago for a gift. I came across a little nail polish store that I had never heard of before. TwentySevenPolish. There were a few things that caught my eye, so a hop, skip, and a checkout later...I bought 3 minis. I am only sharing one with you today.
Happy Hands Nail Polish is a relatively new brand on the Indie scene, but have become very popular, very fast! Last week, they introduced their new collection, "I've Made a Huge Mistake", inspired by the television show Arrested Development. I'm going to admit that I've never watched that show...but that didnt keep me from snagging a couple of these! I actually ordered Mayonegg and Motherboy, both of which are currently sold out. They do restock weekly on their Etsy shop.
A couple of weeks ago, Manglaze posted a couple of promo codes offering 10% off and free shipping. Although these matte polishes are designed for men, I jumped at the chance to finally get my hands on some of these!
Here's what I got.
My polishes, 5 Franken Juggs(and balls), a guitar pick, a sweet decal, and a business card with the lovely Suicide Girl Honey Manko!
About a week ago, I was reminiscing about old polishes I use to love. Love My Nails was one of the brands I was reminded of. A quick google search later, I was browsing the Bari Cosmetics website.A cart full, checkout, and a week later...here I am with polishes in hand.
Now, Bari Cosmetics' website is not very user friendly...more about that later.....but the pictures they have on the site are teeny tiny and you cannot see any details of the polishes at all.
I'm here to help. :-)
I'll start with the glitters that I purchased.

In the past year, one thing that has seemed to explode all over the nail communityare "Indie" brand polishes. Indie brands are generally polish mixed at home, and sold to the masses. They differ from anything you can find in a traditional store. If you are looking for something unique...shop Indie!!
One of the very first Indie brands I remember hearing about is HARE Polish.
I only own 5 Hare's, but I wanted to share how lovely they all are.
Today, while browsing a local discount store, I spotted a bin or random makeup items. At first glance, this bin looked like nothing I would be interested in, but the sign screaming "3 ITEMS FOR $1.00" enticed me to look more closely.
Imagine my surprise when I noticed a few old lipsticks that looked familiar poking out of the pile inside....
Today, I am introducing you to a beauty by Petites, called Hazel! Don't you just love a polish that reminds you of someone or something
that you love dearly? My grandmother's name is Hazel, as well as a
niece who is very dear to my heart.
